Alright well heres the deal...Im going to be getting a 6inch lift. I take my tires and wheels off for winter. I dont want to ruin my chrome rims and i feel safer with my stock tires in the winter. If i lift my truck can i run stocks for a couple months even tho it will look like crap? I've heard you can with pro comp but not fabtech? can someone clear this up thanks

 

fabtech you cant, i believe. rancho you can.

 

You can always do the Rancho plus a spacer and AAL if you want 6".

i remem when i was getting my pro comp done (before i decided no and went with rize) i was going to have to take my truck to another place to do the 3 inch body lift cause 4WP doesnt do body lift installs. and they said id have to have it towed because the stock rims and tires will rub the **** out of the tie rods.

 

a member here runs the rcd kit with 6" BS, maybe you can get away with it with RCD's

 

If you go with a Rancho and 35s on aftermarket rims, you can always run something like 35x10.5 Intercos on the stock rims...

Not really sure. Not terribly familiar with that snow stuff.
