Cloth Interior Owners???
I LOVE my cloth seats!
When I was searching for a truck I purposely sought out a truck with cloth captains chairs. Money had nothing to do with it. I have no regrets going with cloth.
Oddly enough it was pretty hard to find an FX4 with captains chairs and cloth seats, I'd say 80% of the trucks I looked at had leather. It was kind of weird...

I prefer leather because it is easy to clean up small spills without leaving behind any staining. I also think the leather looks better than the materials they are using for cloth seats these days -- all of the manufacturers seem to have gone to a material that has sort of an industrial or utilitarian appearance to it (?).
However, I will say that in my opinion, cloth seats are more comfortable to sit in -- they seem to have just a little more "give" to them that make them easier on your backside, especially over long trips.

I prefer to have the Premium Cloth seats that I have in my XLT. My last vehicle was a Cadillac with high quality thicker leather, yeah it looked good, cause I had to go over it with cleaner/conditioner once a week, In the summer after the gym, I had wipe them down immediately. Leather looks old & cracks also after time. I actually prefer the cloth ones I have, leather is just to high maintenance for me..........
I wish I had leather again, infact Im always keeping my eye open for some leather take offs.
The cloth is definatley more comfortable when it comes to temperatures. As for actually feeling better on the back I guess I dont know...Im not sure how one could be a whole lot more comfy than the other. In my other truck the leather seats would freeze your azz some in the winter, and my back would def. get a little sticky in the summertime, but Im a man, I can take it
My current cloth seats are a bish to keep clean.
Leather is easier to clean and just looks better to me...black leather seats are just plain sexy besides.
So ya know, if anyone out there with the 40/20/40 black leather seats wants cloth, hit me up, lets trade

Both of my FX4's came with cloth seats, I upgaded to leather on my 05 and loved it, plan to upgrade my 07 in the next few months. When I do, my black cloth supercab seat covers will be up for grabs to any who wants them (are you listening gixxerjasen?)
I'm listening, however I've been drooling over some Wet Okole Yellow and black seat covers.
I've heard the neoprene holds heat, but with me doing the dirt bike and mountain bike, thing they also clean up really easily and are geared for outdoors folks.
But who knows, I might need a good deal when you get rid of yours, we'll see.

I thought you might be interested, since they would look good in your yellow truck, and your local.
I did notice that the material used for the seat covers has changed since my 05, the pattern is new and they don't stain as easy as they used to. One of the reasons I changed to leather in my 05 was because I had water stains on the cloth I could not get rid of.

The rest is all vinyl, including the entire back seat. If you want leather, I'd go aftermarket. Find a source with REAL leather for the whole area of ALL the seats in the truck. All the way or nothing at all.
I have owned 2 '04MY+ F-150's with cloth and one with leather. I prefer the "leather" myself.

Had some bad experiences with leather seats on my old Acura P.O.S. I decided to go with cloth since in '04 you couldn't get heated leather seats in an FX4 stock. No regrets, they look close to brand new, they're warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer and I have no worry about stains. I apply a stain guard and inform anyone in my truck that anything spilled in my truck will get you five in the eye!!
I had the black cloth seats in my '05 FX4 Screw. I liked them for about a month. Besides keeping them clean I thought they were really uncomfortable. Then came the ebay leather take-off revolution that hit this site back in '05. Couldn't pass up brand new take-off leather for $120 shipped. I loved it, probably will be a long time before I go back to cloth. Looked, smelled, felt so much better. Of course being in WI I had to put heaters in, which helped a lot.
Then came the King Ranch..

One of my intended mods for my truck is to swap out the cloth for leather. The cloth feels okay, but the leather is classier, and doesn't stain like the factory cloth. It stuns me how easy the seats in this truck stain. And kind of disgusting too!.
