What is the term I'm looking for..... ahh yes. Beginners luck. But I'm still glad you got them out without breaking any.
Yes. I have the TSB.

I took off all the COPS. I sprayed all of them without turning them and waited. I then turned each one 1/8-1/4 turn, and sprayed more. I then waited 10 or so minutes, and finished the extraction.

I personally think it's a better idea to spray them before you start trying to turn them, and mine all came out 100% unbroken with this method.

Whoa there buddy, I didn't mean to **** you off. I'm glad you got them out.
But I've changed more of these plugs then I can remember. And spraying them before you break them loose does no good, if you look at the plug design there is no way the Kroil can get past the seat where the plug tightens against the head.

id bet money on that this penetrating oil would help by spraying before hand.....besides its not like it could hurt and dude read the whole thread before posting

No biggie. Just documented my plug change for anyone interested in doing the same thing. Hope it helps.

Can we see some pictures of what the plugs looked like after you pulled them all out?

Go to his link, a couple of pics there. They didn't look all that bad.

I'm making a trip to TX at the end of the month, and will be putting about 1500 miles on the truck. After I get home, I'm going to pull one of the Brisk plugs and see what it looks like. I'll post another thread with pics.

Well, looks like i'm having a really rough idle. (er... feels like it i mean).

I replaced the throttle position sensor, and it didn't fix anything. I tried to call Troyer Performance, and they are closed today. I'm thinking that my gap is too small on the Brisk plugs. I'm going to check to see if it is with Mike, and if so, will regap and reinstall. If it's the correct gap, I'm going to pull the plugs and stick the Autolites in.

Are the Autolites a one piece design like the Brisk? Also are the double platinum?
