I gave a look to the 07 Z71 but after a take home trip over night, I bought an 08' F150. For some reason the Z71 just didn't feel the same as my old F150. Just me though.

Working in a Chevy dealership bodyshop I work on alot of these things. fit and finish is crap. I love the extended cabs, if the rear door isnt closed tight the doors hit at the top...Ive seen them brush touched coming off the transports. I'll take the jokes at work but Im keepin my ford..

My buddy at work leased a new Silverado with the 5.3l. It seems huge for a half ton when you look at it, but that's all just sheetmetal. Inside doesn't seem like they used space as best as they could, and yes, it doesn't feel as tight as my F150. Overall, if I lost my truck tomorrow, I think I'd be tracking down a replacement F150, and not the new Chevy/GMC offerings. They're not bad, they're just not the truck the Ford is.
