unlike my 95 f150 on the 07s when you turn the key once they start and you dont have to try a few times, but today i started my truck on my way to work and then after i got off work i went to the car wash and leveig there starting it again the starter contuinued to try turning the engine over after it was on. both times on the screen in the dash it said check engine then that turned off and the starter quit. would this be a sylenoid (sorry about spelling) going bad, or is it in the steering column and the key gets stuck.

the second time it did it i tapped the key to make it stop and it was all the way back in the most it would go without turning the engine off.

Sounds like either one, but your under warranty right, so just take it to the dealer.

 

yeah i am, thats what i was planning on doing anyhow. just need to find time. 2 jobs and senior year of high school time is numbered lol... but thanks alot bro

 

dude i know how it feels. i got like two jobs and they alll suck... plus college all the time... dude it feels like i am at the mercy of money... shoulda kept the '99... screw me... dont follow me i suck at lifde thats why i drink got 2 jobs n go to college... wonder how the hell im still alive dude

 

haha damn im right in your foot steps. as soon as i leave school monday tuesday and wedsnday i head to work at the deli, then thursday - sunday i work at buffalo wild wings as a cook 4 to atleast 11 everynight, and then when i close i dont get out till about 3 am. when i started working there drinking was the thing to do man, lol it sucks for sure.

but for real i love the 07 it was stickered for $32,000 after rebates and A plan i got it for $26,995. had it for 4 months now and only ow 20 g on it... for 18 i dont say im doin to bad still got a few hundred in the bank, and still get to se all my friends and **** ( they are usually already wasted by time i get off work) but yup.

Waaaaa. I am a senior with an 07 F-150. Waaaaaa . Dealer will figure it out. Im sure it threw a code.

 

yeah well i ran the code myself with my dads tool and nothin showed and it has only done it those two times and that was the only two times it has said check engine so unless ithappens again im not gonna worry bout it
