Fords New-New Spark plug design
Yeah, and when is Ford going to replace everyone's spark plugs who has the crap ones that break for free? If they were smart then they would recall them now before the miles really start to pile on the engines. They have a better chance of replacing them now with the new design without breaking them then they will when a lot of the trucks out there start hitting 100K miles.

So, Suzook, why is Ford still R&R'ing the 'old' design upon a plug change, right now?
I'm guesing the 'new' plugs & booties aren't in the 'service parts' system yet ?
Or available OTC?
Oh - and WTF would you need new booties???
Thanks for the heads-up, bud, I DO appreciate it!

Please! Ed-u-ma-cate us! Thanks!
If that's true, then it's EXTREMELY shortsighted on Ford's part, given a redesign is possible to fit ALL MY 5.4 3V's (as Brisk demonstrates).
So, FORD is not really listening, at all, lol. This is tantamount to a simultaneous admission of fekking up, and a slap in the face for existing owners. Jolly good show!
Quintin, WTF are ya now?
