My Gf Doesnt Care!

No not my grandfather, my girlfriend. So I just got back from picking up a set of 2.5" spacers(for $30)! I am going to install them tomarrow and I am picking up some 295/70/17 Terra Grapplers, they should be installed Friday. I just had to tell somebody. Quick question though, will I be alright driving all week without getting an alingment? I figure WTF I am gonna do a sweet burnout before I swap and these tires should be garbage, who cares if the fronts wear funny for a week right???? And yes the 33's will be goin on the fugly stock rims. I'll take a couple of before and after pics cause I know IT DOESNT COUNT UNLESS YOU HAVE PICS!

The alignment probably should atleast be checked. Most people needed an alignment after spacers, but i was in the select few of where I didn't need one. Its your call on that. I suggest you get one asap because usually by the time the tires are wearing odd then its too late and they will be cupped.

Amen. I saw a quote the other day that said "A man is said to be in love when he doesn't pay attention to his truck for a few days". I know that's right.

I drove for almost 1,000 miles before I got an alignment and my fronts were just starting to show the cuppage.

the front end will be completely safe without getting aligned. as has already been mentioned, the front tires will cup slightly if not aligned. that's all

try and get pics of the smoke show...and a vid.

295/70R17 should measure in at about 33.5x11.8 I think...
305/70R17s measure at 34x12.2 I do know that...

Get your alignment done ASAP. If you are just knocking around town, probably no harm, no foul, but if you are doing a lot of highway miles, you definately want an alignment ASAP.

Goin to install the spacers in about 10min. The broad is out gettin her nails done! So I switched my mind on tires, I am going to go with the Toyo Open Country A/T 285/70/17 10ply. I'll be back in a couple of hours with some pics. The tires will be installed on Friday.
