Hey Paw Paw, do you think i should have any problems with my Inspection in NC, im kind of nervous now, the only reason im doing it in NC is cause thats where my buddy lives and its only 3% tax there for registration

I plan on switching the plates to Michigan when i get back, but its 6% there so i want to wait till i pay the taxes in NC, Michigan doesnt have Inspections

Nebraska...you need to befriend an inspection mechanic...thats what I have done in PA. Not only does that allow certain things to slide, but when something needs fixed that you can do, they can pass it and tell you to fix it to save on money.

Thanks for all your help!!!! I am hoping to borrow wheels and take it to get inspected then return them. First I have to get my A arms fixed.

I am planning on going to another local shop. My first mistake was going to the local Ford dealer!!! I am not buying my next one from them!

Nebraska

Never realized how great it is to live in FL where everything slides, I would try the bump stops so it doesnt turn to where it rubs. But again you still have that spacer.. good luck

StuckinIraq, believe this or not , I have had my best luck with inspections at dealerships . I know that some folks will not agree with me on this , but I have a method to my madness. Here it is .
I have got to know the mechanic's at the dealerships and always go out of my way to talk to them and talk shop. Believe it or not , most of them like the feedback from a customer . Always ask around for a dealership or shop that is MOD friendly , when it comes to inspections and warrenty work. Just ask - they will let you know.
Also get to know someone in the parts dept.
Works for me .
