H13 bulb. I have 8000K single and I love them. the color did fade a little, but they're still a bright blue/purple/white. most of the companies have a generic ballast, put their own name on them (ie - phillips, mcculloch, etc.)

i got mine for 100 bucks shipped.

Have you guys ever been pulled over for the HID's?
I've never been ticketed for my 6000k but have been told to shut my fogs n change my lights. A friend of mine got ticketed for his 8500k (headlights only) ebay lights in his Colorado, it all depends on the cop, but YES ALL HIDs that do not come factory are illegal

What would you guys recommend ? I am looking for a nice real bright headlight. I want the low beam to be a little brighter than stock, but I would like my fogs and my high beams to be blinding? Which is a quality kit? Where should I be looking? Thanks a lot guys

How much are you willing to spend? I'd go withe link that I was given on the second post by Tuff. That's a name brand you can trust. Click on the link and you'll be able to see the different colors available, but because you're looking for Hi and Low beam you looking at $399, not including the fog's.

Im going the opposite direction as most of you, planning a retrofit of a Acura TL Projector, and ZkW Lense into the stock housing so that I have a better cutoff than most... except maybe F150 Duke

I look at all the above pictures in this post and say "Damn, thats alot of glare and a little hazardous for oncoming traffic..."

Why not do a retrofit if money isn't an option? It will be alot cleaner, check out hidplanet.com/forums and check some of the pics... Then you won't have to worry about tickets

DTheobald, How exactly are you planning on doing a Retrofit? Are you taking it somewhere? Or are you gonna do it yourself?

Oh and as for your earlier post, down here SO MANY people have HID's that people have just gotten used to the constant "Glares". That was actually the reason I had taken them off in the first place, to many people have them.

I'd pay $1500 maybe even $2000 for some headlights like the ones I posted with the Q45.

I doubt it... Duke spent close to a year doing his and working with a guy.... I have researched and am looking into buying the projector, but won't start actually playing with the light til probably after the holidays... I gotta get my son his F150 Power Wheel, so my $400 projectors are on the wait list
