I would buy an edge if i had the programming software to go along with it, silly SCT keeps restrictions on PRP software.

Since the Canadian dollar is so strong right now, have Canadian vendors dropped the prices of products in Canada, or would you have to buy the same stuff in the US to see the difference? For example, in the US, a Toyota Camry has a base price of $18,570 US. In Canada, the same Camry has a base price of $25,900 CA. Do you forsee the manufacturers lowering prices in Canada so that they are more in line with American prices, now that the US and Canadian dollars are much closer in value than before?

I would sure hope so, but given they are pulling every excuse they can outta their asses explaining why the can't despite our lame guv'mint's edicts, by the time it happens, parity will have evaporated.... basically we are contiuing to get screwed, and hence we are and will continue to be, cross-border shopping in record droves

I go for the staples - gas, beer, pizza and wings, lol! Oh, and Meguiar's products and oil and filters and....... well just about everything.

Like what? Only a single vehicle? Well, then why not become a dealer?

Hope you don't have Windows Vista. You won't be able to get updates!

Another programmer bashing thread?. Look. IMO, if you have your truck already set-up with everything you want, (intake, exhaust, gears, wheels and all the goodies, then a CUSTOM tune is best because it is SPECIFIC to get the most of your vehicles modifications. If you still do not have everything you would like or are thinking of adding later on but want an increase NOW, then get an Edge programmer because of flexibility. When you get to that point(if ever) sell your edge and get a custom tune. Also, if you look at it this way, selling your edge will get you some money back, I don't think you can sell a custom tune without modifiying it for the vehicle being sold and that means more money and back to the person who programmed it.

Or you can get an Xcal3 and use the canned tunes and just have custom tunes e-mailed to you. And this way will have your 3 canned tunes and 3 custom tunes. Also if you decide to sell the truck you can have a custom tune done on the Xcal3 for any other car/truck.

Anyway you want to do it, it's YOUR call and you might see some benefits either way.
