Well, looks like everyone already answered it.
2004-2005s had two pieces of honeycomb on the ends, the opening was also bigger. G.A.P. sold a piece to fit in the middle but it was about $50 for a little dinky piece of plastic, if I recall correctly. 2006s have a smaller opening and no grille whatsoever.
The brake dust is normal, get a set of Hawk pads.
