Does anyone here know..

I was going to remove the lift blocks from the rear of my 06 Screw 4x4 to level it rather than buying a leveling kit for the front. After I looked at it i realized that the ubolts would be too long and not have enough thread once the block was removed.

Does anyone know if the 2wd rear ubolts would be shorter and have enough thread or do they have the lift block too? And would they be a direct replacement? I dont know if they all use the same axle, etc.

Hi. 2WD u-bolts will work fine - lots of folks went this route.

Just be careful under there.

Make sure to order the ubolts for the standard suspension, not the heavy duty.

I have a set of 2WD ubolts from my truck. I have a 4x4, took out the rear blocks, but have since added the blocks back in and leveled the front - mainly to fit 35s. I can get them to you pretty cheap....just shoot me an email or PM.

Just make sure you keep those rear blocks and longer 4x4 ubolts as some of us (like myself) are always considering adding them to our 4x2's.
