Yeah I will always be a Ford man I have owner ford since I was 15 or 16 so this lemon will not turn me away. If I get what I want I will own a brand new F-150. There is no point to get all worked up over it I have another car so the truck is parked and will remain that way until I settle with Ford and the Dealer.

Just finished reading the whole thread and feel real bad for you. I hope everything will work out to your benefit.

This is the MAIN reason I don't buy used. You just never know what type of maintenance or abuse the vehicle went through.

Good luck!

Well guys it has been a long time since I have visited the site. But I am back and here is an update. I have had my truck for almost two years now and it is still in lidigation. We have been through pre-trial hearing and all but one charge against ford and the dealer has stuck. I have answered question after question and provided documetn after document. So things are going extremely slow but everyday I get closer to a settlement. My attorney finally got to send over a request for settelment. So we will see how things turn out over the next 6 months. I would hope it is wrapped up by then but if not I am sticking to my guns on this becasue they should have fixed my truck to begin with and saved themselves a fortune in attorney fees. Even if I lose I hope they lose thousands in attorney fees. Thousands may not seem like much but in today's market that is a lot to the struggeling automakres.

You have owned the truck for about two years. You have not had the use of the truck for the past year. You are also paying for an attorney.

I hope that you are asking for a settlement of the purchase price of the truck, the cost of the extended warranty, the cost of the secondary vehicle that you have been driving for the past year, legal fees, + unspecified punitive damages.

Ask for something unreasonable and crazy. Then if you get half, take it.

The first year went by and we asked for 50,000 now that it has went another year we have upped it to 75,000. If I was to get half I would get a very nice chunck of change to put in the bank. Alls I wanted when it all started was my truck fixed now that they want to be jerks I am goign to fight them till they cave or the truck rust's into a pile of crap where it sets.
