Can I do this and would you
So I have a pretty good opportunity to get some 35x12.5r20 Nitto Mud Grapplers with 800 miles on them for around 600 buck (yes a full set), now I havent read a whole lot of great things about this particular set of tires (road noise), but not a whole lot of bad either, so if you had the chance would you take it and put them on for that price and then just get some Toyo's or BFG's when they wear out which will hopefully be later than sooner.
Also most importantly can I even put these on my truck right now, I have a 2007 Screw 4x4 with a 2" AS level kit, I think I read some where on here that with the level kit I can run 35's on stock rims but I just wanted to make sure before I take the leap.
Good decision or bad? thanks for the help guys

I personally don't care for the Mud Graps. But that is MY PREFERENCE. I understand they are a good tire, with good performance. I also think they look extremely odd, and have not heard overly great things about them being used as an actual mud tire... There WILL be folks here that have had them and will swear by them. Maybe they might be able to speak for them better...
What I have seen is that yes, you can do 35s on stock rims with a 2.5" level. Not sure if 2" is enough though.
The Mud Graps have really aggressive side lugs, and they are known to rub on the control arms with stock rims... Watch out for that.

Well thanks for all the help guys, but I have decided against this purchase, just not much good to say about them anywhere I look, so Ill pass and wait for something else.

I love the tire, I may purchase them again. I'm actually looking for tires now, I have very little tread left. May go with these again, or possibly claws. However I want 22's this time around. They performed really well in mud I will never argue otherwise, they lasted about a year. Those who compare tires, you cannot judge a tire because you didn't make it through a pit and a different vehicle ran the pit fine with a different brand, curb weight and power differ between the two vehicles. It's not science, void ratio and weight is about all you need to know about a tire to know whether it will perform well in mud.
