Bilstein 5100 Question

I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.
I bought the front and rear 5100 shocks for my truck. My front's have two preload points (stock and +2") I assume.

I seen some people posting here that theirs have 2 preload points and other people say they have 3 preload points.

I installed the rears and so far have noticed that the rear had the highway hop pretty bad..... Maybe I need to go for another drive.

I've heard they are pretty stiff at first. Are you sure you installed them right? As in back in the back front in the front. I believe it makes a slight difference which direction they are mounted as well. Just trying to give you some options. Assuming everything is installed right I'd just give it a little time.

There are three settings for the FRONT ONES ONLY (rears have none) First one from bottom is stock height, middle is +1 inch, Third or top is +2 inches. When I installed mine I did all four at once. There was no freeway hop wutsoever although it was pretty stiff at first compared to stock but when driven longer I eventually loved them becuase they did help with my front end not bowing down during stops. Hope this helps

X2 I love mine! There is less nose dive and body roll compared to the OEM ones. Enjoy

Have any of you that are running these leveling shocks experienced any kind of rattling comming from the front suspension while going over sharp bumps? I usually never have my windows down, but the other day I did and therefor was able to listen in on this noise comming from the front suspension area. Almost sounds like something loose. I am pretty ticked off with my dealerships service dept. The first time I had these installed the dumbass that was doing it set it to the lowest setting, thus defeating the purpose of these shocks. Oh and that was after the tech said "it can't be done" meaning the shocks couldn't be installed because the shock mount wasn't included in with the bilstein shocks. The intructions included with the shocks clearly state to remove the shock mount front the OEM shocks and re use, yet he said "it can't be done". Now this is supposed to be a factory trained tech, the dude obviously should not be working there. So now I inspect my shocks and notice that both boots have slipped down to the shock body and it also looks like I may be missing a bump stop on the right side. Makes we wonder what else I am missing. I'm going back to that stealership to raise some hell. Well anyways let me know if any of your are experiencing noise comming from the front suspension. Thanks, your help is greatly appreciated.
