how did you prep your roush scoop b4 putting the cf insert on?

how did you prep your roush scoop b4 putting the cf insert on?
just clean it with rubbing alcohol or something? its already on the truck and i cleaned the bugs off...just wondering if anyone used any special cleaner etc...b4 applying the insert....thanks

just cleaned it with windex before i installed mine and it is been on there for for almost 2 years now.
