Fuel Filter-Apology to some of you

I never understood why some of you had trouble releasing the outlet line when changing the fuel filter as I had changed mine 3 times without any difficulty at all. Yesterday, I cleaned my K&N air filter, cleaned the MAF and intended to change the fuel filter. I did everything as usual and the outlet line would not come off. I was using the same metal scissor tool as always. Have no idea what is different and why it won't come off. Ended up leaving the old filter on. So, my apologies to you guys for what I was thinking about you guys that had this problem.

I'll be changing mine next week. You'll have to come by so I can show you how my cheap plastic fuel line filter removal tools work.

BTW, I don't think you were one of those that needed to be included in the apology, but if you were, I withdraw it for you.

Same here. I bought both the metal and plastic type. The plastic one worked, I couldn't get the metal one to release it.

That would either be very tragic, or completely unnoticeable

Well, if Stealth won't tell me when to go by, guess I'll have to go pick up a plastic one. Wish I knew what was different this time from the previous 3 times it worked.

Jim - could be the filter ends this time - those flanges or ridge thingys could be a little pookered or sumptin...
