Time to say Goodnight

Involved in a pretty heavy pursuit in the boonies, and besides ripping apart the front end suspension, ended up rolling it in a dry wash, putting the roof about 5 inches lower than it's supposed to be. Fortunately, the restraint and air bag systems all worked the way they are supposed to, and I was unhurt.

It's going to be a couple days before it gets towed to impound-right now, it's about thirty miles from any paved road and the wet weather is preventing the tow trucks from getting to it. Will try to post pics, but right now it's still an active scene and I can't publish anything.

Motor pool has no more F-150s, so it looks like I'll either be put into a Suburban or Tahoe when I get back to work.

Two years and a month, 148,xxx miles...what a great truck. Gonna miss it!

I know a bunch of you won't miss me-oh well. I didn't come here to be liked.

To the friends I've made here, keep in touch!

Why is it y'all that don't have your trucks anymore, for whatever reason, think that you can't hang around with us anymore?

Don't be a stranger.

So..... excuse my ignorance, but was someone in pursuit of you, or were you in pursuit of someone else? And did I interpret this correctly that this was a company truck, judging from the Motorpool comment? Pretty cool truck for a company truck! Dang tho, 150K in two years? I thought my 44K in two years was a lot!

Glad you weren't hurt tho, the safety of these trucks has been proven over and over again on this site and I am glad I have this truck as I start my own family.

He's some kind of agent for an un-named federal agency. I heard him say on here once he spends a lot of time on the various Indian Reservations all over Nebraska, South/North Dakota, and Kansas-that's how he put on all the miles.

That was his "unmarked" vehicle???

I used to work with him for a very different business when he first got out of the Marines-'old OnB has quite a story. Admire the guy a lot-glad you're okay!
