Gauge face and gauge pod installed

Finally got some pics of my US Speedo gauge overlays and my autometer trans temp and boost gauges. the Ultra Lite II series went perfectly with the overlays, so im very happy with that. I was hoping the new overlays would do away with the green lighting but they didnt, but they still look alot better than the stock XLT gauges. the fuel needle location somehow got screwed up so im going to have to take it apart and fix it some time...

Looks so much nicer! Q: are the backlight bulbs themselves green? If so, maybe they can be replaced?

looks good, but imo you def need to change the bulbs in the pods to looks the same as the cluster

From other posts I have read it is a film in the cluster, not the bulbs, that make it green. The member here who replaced all of his leds everywhere with blue ones discovered it and ruined his cluster doing it.

Ah, yes, I see that now - thanks. Too bad. I've had blue lighting in a couple of previous vehicles (VW and Acura) and IMO it is so much nicer. But as much as I'd like to see in my XLT, I don't spend enough time in the vehicle, particularly at night, to warrant doing the swap, unless of course a really good deal on a Lariat or even an FX4 cluster came along, or better yet, someone came out with a direct swap of the face plate itself (the same dash in blue)

For those interested, US Speedo came out with their aqua edition cluster faces, promising to change the backlight to blue too. I can't find much info or pics, but here is something to check out
