Talking Upgraded to a Super Duty!

After towing my trailer and tipping the scales at 14,020 with very little in the trailer, I was actually able to convince the wife we needed a Super Duty. And surprisingly she agreed, but she had an ulterior motive!! She decided we should trade her 05 escape in and she would take over the F150, and I would get my new F250! What a Gal!! I get the best of both worlds!! Sounded like a win win to me!! Check out my gallery for pics of both trucks and the wonderful trailer she had to have that caused all of this to happen!!! What a Trailer!!

Thats awesome 2 new trucks and new camper. Did you win the lottery Are you going to start traveling different campgrounds now with that f250. Are you still permanent at the campground. I was permanent at kozy rest for 5 yrs and decided to travel different campgrounds. Its great going to different campgrounds. It was tough this year because my gf works 2nd job, Saturday nights. She always had to request Saturday off. Are you going to the Rv show in January 5-13 We still go every year.

Nice score, except for the V10. I'm not a big fan of those, but some people LOVE em, and you're one of those apparently. Good job convincing the wife.

Why would they already be planning to replace the 6.4?

The 6.4 doesn't meet the emissions requirements that all diesel engines have to meet by 2010.

Where'd you hear this? I'd be curious to read about it.

so what is wrong with the V-10? the latest ford brochers claim the V-10 out hauls the competitions diesels. My father just traded his 2000 V10 for a 2008 V-10.. he says they are totally different trucks. and he is very happy with his. I would love to have a diesel.. but the $7000 price difference would never justify it.

Cause Navistar couldn't build an engine that isn't a big problem to warranty. Ford and Navistar are duking it out in court right now. I've read that the new Diesel for those trucks will be a Ford Built V8 pushing 400HP..and if that happens, which I expect it will eventually, I am going to trade up too a Superduty.

Those V10s are great engines. The only thing that sucks about the V10 is the fuel mileage.

Information like this on the internet is only hear-say. I'll believe it when I see it. The 6.4L is unlikely to be replaced this early in the game.
