Post Cruise Control Problem, Leak in rear of cab Solved!

I am new to this...I have a 2004 FX4 that had a few problems, and just got it back today from the dealer. My cruise control stopped working one day, and it would not come on after that. I also had water leaking in the rear of my super cab from rain or dew in the morning. I finally took it to the dealer and they told me that the shift interlock was defective and that it would not allow my cruise control to engage. They put a new one in and it works again. The problem with my water leak was caused by a leaky third brake light. They replaced that and I am hoping it solves the problem. Wanted to post this in case anyone else was having the same problems as I was. It ended up being 450 dollars to fix so if your having these same issues and if you can fix it yourself it would be cheaper. Also, believe it or not I am almost to the 150000 mile club and the truck has been pretty good since I bought it new. So take care of it and it will take care of you, and this is coming from a die hard chevy fan, but my old silverado was not better than this ford so if you can't be em join em!! I am still not giving up my Camaro though : ) When I have more issues and solutions I will post them.

Question. DId you change your spark plugs at 100K per the maintenance guide? Any issues?

I took it into the dealer around 105,000 miles to have the maintenance done, and yes they changed out the spark plugs also. I lived an hour and a half away from work until a year ago, that is the cause of the high miles. The truck and leather interior still looks new besides some wrinkles in the seat because of the leather. I should post some pics, the truck is mostly stock though. It has 148000 miles on it now. I bought in the fall of 2003 so it was one of the first built with the new bodystyle. No major problems though.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the shift interlock replacement set you back? I am pretty sure that is the problem I am having with mine...curious to see how much it is going to cost me. Thanks
