End of Waranty

Overall not a bad truck, since I'm in college again I'll probably have to hold on to her until I graduate. Just a couple complaints though. My 2002 FX4 SCAB got a little better gas milage and was similarly modded, with nearly identical options. Both 5.4's, both 3.73 LS, both SCAB, 2002 had SIDO Flowmaster with hypertech programmer. 2005 has SIDO Gibson with the Edge. I consistantly got 16.9 in the 2002 on the highway driving at about 70-75. In my 2005 I only get about 14.5 at the same speeds. I'm sure my driving habits haven't changed, not sure what is the deal.

Also the doors on my 2005 seem to rattle a bit more, I really have to slam shut the back doors and close the front doors pretty hard too and still get a little bit of rattle on bumpy roads. I didn't notice this in the 2002 with higher milage (sold with 56,000 miles).

All in all I really like this truck, but I can't wait to trade her in for a screw diesel.

That day at elevations above 6000 ft, we got about 3 inches of snow. Fortunately the town is only about 5000-5200 ft, but there are mountains pretty much surrounding the town that got the snow. I've been really suprised at how quick it gets cold here. Highs are only around 60 here now, I expect to see snow here in about a month I guess. I better get my 4-wheeler tuned up so I can go out and play.
