Question Need help w/keyless entry code

Just purchased a 2004 F150 w/keyless entry. Unfortunately, the previous owner never left the 5 digit code to use the keyless entry. Does anyone know where to find it on this vehicle. Your assistance is much appreciated.

I had a card that had the number on it that came in the owners manual zip up folder. I would check that first. If not I "think" it might be behind the backseat on a box that is mounted on the back of the cab. Take a look in the owners manual I think it says something in it what to do if you forget the code. Someone should chime in with a definite answer where the code is located though.

By the way welcome to the site.

You can also try doing a search, I'm sure this has been asked before.

There is a sticker on the Body Security Module that has the 5 digit code you need. The BSM is on the back wall of the cab, behind the back seat on the drivers side.

keyless entry code

Thank you everyone for your posts. After fighting with the back seat, we finally found the code. You can't imagine the relief! We looked high and low in that truck. Thanks again!

Now that you have the original code, look in your owners manual and there is instructions on how to program your own 5 digit code.

And welcome to the site, now you need to post pics of your truck and tell us what you have.

keyless entry

It took some time to figure out how to get the seat out. Once the seat was out, it took all of 2 minutes to find the code. I'll get pics on as soon as I take some. Just got the truck saturday and I've been so busy looking for that darn code, I haven't had time to do anything else.

the code is behind the back seat on the passenger side...remove back seat instruction

take a look here to see how to remove the rear seat of your 2004 F150 and there in rests the place the secret entry code rests.
