Do you have to remove the OEM installed one and if so what is the best way to remove it?

Yes remove the oem one.It should peel right off.But if it doesn't just heat it up with a hairdryer and it will come off.

Hay NASSTY, those are the SC ones from MOSS? Are the rear ones already cut out like that for the door catch? I ordered some last night along with the tailgate weather stripping.

I ran a search and saw some of the options (AVS StepShields, Billet Sills, etc....). What are you all using and could you post pics?

Thanks.
I bought the AVS brand. They came as a set of four. I peeled off the driver side guard and applied the new one in it's place. the other three went in super easy. Just clean the space with alcohol (they provide alcohol wipes) and press and fit. Super easy and the match perfectly the factory sills PLUS my Husky liners. It all flows very nicely together. I'll try to get pics.

I just bought MOSS' last set of sill protectors (the ones posted above anyway) for a SCrew. I also ordered their Weathertech bug deflector. Hope I picked a decent one. It was cheap, so no biggie if I don't like it, and no holes to drill.

They are made for a scab, but I got mine at a local part store not through Moss. They came notched for the door catch, there is no cutting required.

OK, I was pretty much sold on a set of aluminum ones but now you guys all convinced me to order a set of the AVS ones. I ordered them today through MOSS - $25.95 + 9.95 shipping. These will hold up much better over time than the aluminum ones anyways.

They said 2-4 weeks is the usual timeframe on a backorder, but it can vary.
