07 FX4 4WD, Ect help

I have noticed a few times recently that when I come out of 4wd that it feels as if it is stuck in 4 high. I tried putting it in reverse multiple times and that doesnt seem to work. The only thing that works is to turn it off for a little while and let it sit, then it seems fine. I dont understand what could be wrong with it.
ANother thing, can I tell on my screen that tells me temp and miles, what im getting on gas mileage? If so how do I do it? I could have sworn I did it when I was on the car lot but cant figure it out now.

I have never noticed that on my 06 with in and out of 4x4.

I thought only the lariats had the computer that showed anything other than mileage. Is yours a luxury package and do you have the 3 buttons on the dash?

MY FX4 takes like 2 seconds to disengage actually less. I mean it is going to take a second for things to unlock and not be part of the drivetrain it isnt like instant.
