Adding factory backup sensor system... ?

I know this has been brought up in the past and the answer is usually always that it's not worth it, the sensors are too expensive, ect (I searched, a lot).

But... what if someone happened to get the sensors for cheap, or even a whole bumper with the sensors already in it... does anybody actually know what all is involved in setting up the parking sensor system?

Thanks!

It's really an immense cost for that kind of gain... forget you even thought of that idea or just go here instead (seems ok and much less expensive):

Well what is the cost? That's what I want to figure out.

I know all about the aftermarket units, I've seen everything anybody has installed here...

I'm just curious as to what exactly is involved. Are the trucks wired for the stock system from the factory? Is it a stand-alone box that plugs in someplace to control the system like much of the other systems on these trucks? Let's pretend money isn't an issue...

Thanks!
