I need to pull them out does anybody know how to remove them. I can't seem to find any info in the factory manual on how to do this. I am getting the mirrors painted.

I painted my mirrors without removing the LED's just tape them up before sanding and again before painting.

 

you will probably need to get behind the glass to pop them out-at least thats how it works on F250's.

 

Exactly.

There's a tab on each side of the LED, if you free up one of the tabs the whole peice comes out. I found out the hard way, I have to pull my mirrors in to get in my side of the garage and one night I cleaned the windows but forgot to push the mirror back in. I backed out the next morning and WHACK! I found out how the LED bar comes out the hard way. Not a good day.
