Yes, predrilled with a 1/16" bit then I used #6,(I think), machine screws. Installed with a screwdriver.

Sometimes the best thing to do is just step aside and let it burn. So you really want a vehicle that had an interior or exterior fire?

I'd carry one for someone elses vehicle.

Hmmm not sure I follow you? I suppose once it's a major blaze out on a lonely highway may as well enjoy the show bc one of these little extinguishers won't do much anyway. But I sure as heck wish I'd had the one I have now instead of the plastic POS that failed me. I had a small fire which could have been easily extinguished in about 2 seconds but instead was a friggin fiasco and nearly a disaster. There's a good chance one of these could put out a small fire before it causes major damage and possibly become a dangerous situation to others in the case of the vehicle being inside a garage or something. It's good back up for a lot of reasons.

Haha, yep...call the insurance company and get ya a new one. I don't want a truck that catches on fire anyways!

Theft attempt, wiring short or something, in Tampa about three years ago. Burned while I was sleeping. Some neighbors called it in, Fire Dept and Sheriff woke me to the aftermath. A billard ball "8" ball was found in rubble where back seat used to be.

I agree. I always thought "fire extinguishers" inside vehicles were strictly for "looks" which I thought was kinda stupid...but to each his own I guess.

I've got to much money and love my vehicles to much to just 'step aside and let one burn'. Im going to try to put it out no matter how big or small the fire might be.
