2 Wheel Drive
2 Wheel Drive
hey guys,
I got my truck and it has everything except 4 wheel drive. Ever since I was looking at trucks I wanted to lift it and I was thinking about lifting it still. What do you guys think? Will it be poser? Do you guys think I should do a procomp 6 inch lift with some terra grapplers? Or a 2 inch leveling kit with some terra grapplers. Or should I leave it the way it is?

Trade for 4x4 lol Trust me! Once you start doing all that off road stuff to your 2wd you'll get ****y and get stuck on something thats a simple 4x4 area. Then you'll definitely want a 4x4 and it will be too late cause you'll have all the suspension parts for the 2wd.
I never take mine offroad and I have a 6" lift and 35's on it right now. Most guys (when honest) will tell you they lift their trucks for looks primarily. When you pay $30k plus for a vehicle then throw on $8k - $10k in mods most guys simply aren't using these trucks as serious offroading machines. I love the looks of my truck and even though it's a 2WD I would lift it again in a heartbeat.
2WD here with a 2" front leveling kit and Add A Leaf in the rear. I don't mind 2wd, but I hated how low it looked once I got on these forums. I really think 3" all around would look awesome.

Lift it, do what you like I do not think a lifted 2wd is a poser. My grandpa only had 2wd f100s and he took us down some crazy roads in a stock truck. Its not about 4w or 2w its more on how you drive. I would for sure put a good true track or air locker though, just me, my grandpa has basic work trucks no LS

It's damn nice when your out in the middle of nowhere and the wet mud smells like chit, it's hot and humid, you can help yourself. Everyone has heard the saying you only use 2wd to get you in to trouble and 4wd to get you out.
Now some of my friends use 4wd to get them into trouble, and use their lockers and boggers to get them out.
And the occasional tug.
