Removing Center Console(partly?)

Glad I had a reason to finally join this site.. I have an 04 F150 lariat..

Well I had something of very important value fall into the hole where the large leather top of the console snaps down to close into the female part... it fell down in there so you cant even see it anymore .... any idea how I could remove a couple pieces to get down in there and find my GEM? lol thanks

Very inportant value, hmmm, I won't ask.

Just start taking it apart. Kind of like an Easter egg hunt. You'll find it.

Is it a flow through console with the shifter? Or is it an XLT console? Let me look for something, I think there's some diarams here somewhere, if I'm not mistaken.

uhh I have wood trim everywhere and it has a shifter mounted in front of the storage area... They make it look like the center console is coming out of the dash.
