I have one on my 4.6L, it sounds great. It has more of an aggressive performance sound to it. It should sound really sweet on a 5.4L with a intake and a tuner. As far as picking up any performance over a flowmaster, I don't know. It is a straight through design, so I believe that's supposed to be a little better than the baffled flowmaster. Probably the sound will be the only real difference.

i was looking into these things too, but my currently setup is a SI/DO and they only make SI/SO for the bullets and i want to keep my dual tips. i found the dynomax ultra flow welded muffler that is SI/DO and the exact same size as my super44 so it would fit perfectly as a replacement, but i dont think its going to give me the same loud sound as the flowmaster, and i dont want to lose any sound with a muffler swap. Will it not be as loud??

Could i run the bullet SI/SO then have a Y-pipe right after the muffler into my dual tips? or would that give me bad airflow?? (the Y-pipe would also have to go from a single 3" to dual 2.5", is it possible??)

I measured my exhaust tubing which came out to be 7.25" and if you divide that by 3.14" you get 2.3 so I'm guessing I've got 2.25" tubing. Its supposed to be 2.25" but I'd hate to order my stuff and than find out its wrong!

What do you guys think?

2.25. your measurement of 7.25 isnt exact, and 3.14 is a rounded number as well, if you used more accurate calculations then you would get 2.25.

the SI/SO into a y pipe would flow better then you SI/DO Flow master!

I switched from a flowmaster 40 and the hp difference was really noticible. Its way more peepy and the sound is amazing. I also recomend dumping it.

Weazel i thought you had a loudmouth?

So you think I should get rid of my duels and just dump it under the truck?

I thought about that but when I go off-road I like to be able to see where the exhust is if I'm in water and with it dumped under the truck that would not be a option.
