Do you have to cut the stock wiring harness off to install L.E.D. tail lights? I mean the whole things, not just the bulbs.

NO...its purely plug and play. Just unplug the stock lights and plug the LED's in.

Does every truck require a load resistor? I rarely use cruise control so the cruise disengaging is not a real big deal for me. I would like to install these lights but I suck at electrical work if I needed to put the resistor in.

I replaced my bulbs with LEDs all the way around the truck. I have NO issue with the cruise control cutting out after a signal.

Just an FYI.

You will get the hyperblink problem if you don't use either load resistors or replace the flasher under the dash.
