Difference between fx4 and xlt

i added the fx4 skid plate and transfer case plate to my xlt.. one of the first mods i did. they just bolt on!

On the FX4 the 5.4 is standard while in the XLT it is an option and the grills are different the XLT has the honeycomb grill while the FX4 has the grill with the bars in it.

My 06 XLT has the manual transfer case.It also has the 5.4 engine,3:73 gears and LS diff..The terry cloth seat covers are aftermarket.

Thanks for the pic NASSTY. I was wondering what one looked like in the new F150's.

The seat covers are bang on !!

How can I tell if I have the rancho shocks??

Well, they'd be White, with Red booties - and with a 'Rancho' graphic plastered on them.

But don't bother, they did not come either stock or as an option on 04+'s, as I noted previously
