door locks

door locks

i have an 07 fx4 screw the only thing that bothers me is the locking system i checked the manual and found nothing ...is there anyway to get all the locks to unlock when you shut the truck off

1) Yes, get an aftermarket alarm system such as the Viper that'll allow you to program this feature.

2) Yes, turn off the autolock feature so that your doors don't lock when you're driving. This will leave any doors "as is" so that when you stop, the same doors that were open when you started are open when you stop.

3) Past the two options above, no, you cannot adjust this setting. It's a safety feature that cannot be turned off by any other means.

go to page 132 in your owners manual "Deactivating/activating autolock" i tried the keypad way, if yours had a keypad anyway and i couldnt get it to work. the other way worked for me though. this just shuts the feature off, i thought mine unlocked the doors when you put it in park? maybe not
