Wierd Vibration...

I think it's just me... but I want to make sure... When I take off from a stop, I notice a rear end vibration only when I am really pushing hard on the throttle from 2nd and 3rd gear. Mainly 2nd when I am getting up from around 10 mph to around 22 mph when I shift to 3rd. I can sometimes get it to do it in 3rd when I hammer it on the highway.

If I remember correctly, the other F150's I test drove did the same thing, granted they were all automatics.

Also, it was doing this when I had the stock 3.55's in... so it wasn't the re-gear.

The shudder you're talking about is usually fixed with a computer update or an after market tuner.

How is that fixed by an aftermarket tuner?! I've got a manual transmission. Feels mechanical to me. I think it's normal... but I've got to test another f150.

However, I'm getting 21.8 mpg and I am happy.
