can you post pictures and do they stick out far from the mirror assembly and look cheesy or do they look like they belong? thanks

I would never even considering putting on the full chrome mirror caps, even if someone paid for them. But I do have to say the caps are pretty good looking. It's not my cup of tea but they do look pretty good. .

 

half caps look good with chrome bumpers, full caps look tacky

 

no im talking about the skull (half) caps God id never put the full ones on

 

I have the full ones, I think they look ok on a dark truck that already has chrome on it. Sure are easier to clean than the black textured plastic.
On mine they only stick past the mirror by maybe 1/4 inch

 

I had full covers for awhile. All my friends ripped on me cause(no offense) it looked like a mexican mobile(The vatos around here "pimp out" their cars with so much of that autozone crap it is ridiculous.) I only did it cause I'm a dumbass and I whacked the passenger mirror on a parked van crusing down Belmont in the city. Covers=$60 new mirror=240(ford). E-bay is your friend, new mirrors for $60. They looked good for the first 6 months. In the winter they got all these nasty "Veins". Garbage IMO

Certain color trucks can pull this off IMO.

 

I have the full Putco package [four doors, tailgate and mirrors] and I must say I've been quite happy with their appearence and, especially, wear-n-tear.

I've contemplated - so, so many times - going the Mark LT's but, in all honesty, while I think the door handles look fine, I think those half mirror covers look so damn horrible! Fugly!

I'd rather go the LT handles and have the mirrors just black. May still even do that in the near future.

To each their own...

 

I should have clarified. I thought he was talking about the full caps. I think the halfs look good. The fulls just look way over done IMO.

 

They look awesome. With the mirror, handles, the centercaps on my stock 20'' rims, bumpers, headlights and the grille surround. It all goes to gether beautifuly

 

no these are the ones im talking about...they look good from the front but what about behind the mirror looking toward the glass?
