Just messing with you. Those are more fun to run though, and I don't mean the 4.6.

it can easily be done in a day, my original setup took me about 4 hours b.c i had just about everything i needed at my finger tips at school. Like i said there was a good chunk of time spent on shopping for all of the necissary wiring parts.

when you say you want efans is it gonna be like when you want to get that tint done too?

Pat - wiring!

I don't see no heatshrink.

Next time, consider installing a nice big barrier terminal block , soldering ALL your relay, etc connections to mini-harnesses, and terminating with soldered closed ring eyelets on the block. Still modular ( you can fab up a couple extra relays/harnesses as spares & swap out real easy).

Those fekkin' spade connectors are a disaster waitin' to happen in a vibrating vehicle, and those currents lol.

Didn't we alreadly have this discussion?

Otherwise ---->

Yah we bent up the spade connectors so they wont back off easily. And we used heatshrink as much as we could unless we forgot and we already soldered the wire up

sorry to resurrect and old thread.

what brand of fans did you use and how are they holding up? i'm trying to figure out what controller i want to run as well. not crazy about an in-cab switch, but i could probably find a place to put one that's out of the way (i don't like adding things that don't look like they were meant to be there)

i want a controller that uses a thermostat to control the primary fan and has a lead from the A/C input to turn on the condensor fan.

any problems with mounting to the radiator? doesn't look like the strongest method to me, but i may see if i could fab a bracket or something.

well he is in basic training right now so ill answer your questions

fans are holding up fine, he runs his alot more then me, and i have his controller tuned a little cooler then mine. Originally bought the fans from ebay. He ordered 3 fans, and the third one is on my truck as my second fan.

The autozone controller is good. If you wanted you could run a second controller and put it on the condensor. Problem is you dont want or need the fans running on the highway, so you would still have to have an override switch to turn them off.

Any other questions just let me know
