Amber running lights

Hey guys... my buddy is looking for the amber running lights that attche on the lower bumper valence. I have not seen any that fit our trucks. COuldnt help him out. Not sure if you know what im talking about. You usually see them on diesels are big rigs?

try theses guys. i know i saw some in their catalog. just like the line of fire, but amber lights.

thanks dri... which ones do i tell him to get? He wants something like this on his 150 but not with so many?

I think it'd be slick to have the amber lights accross the front of the roof.

Better yet, why doesn't anyone do moon visors anymore? They make 'em.

looks like these guys have them.

Right. Those are nice too. Sorry for not making a separate thread, but I think the cab clearance lights are slick. Just trying to keep the clutter down.

I saw a new body style F150 with these the other day - I'd love to know where I could get a set installed on my truck!

Devin, a lot of the time, the big rigs will pick up the lights individually from any/most truck stops, tap some holes , and run a hot lead. Being that your buddy wants to put them along his plastic valance, he'd have to run a ground to each light. Maybe some perforated metal strap (pipe hanger type stuff) along the back side would eliminate some annoying wiring, since the lights themselves don't have a ground lead- ground is through the mounting point.

Depending on the truck stop, he can probably pick up some pretty good looking lights.

By the way im planning on doing the cab lights very soon. I love they way they look too. make it look like a truck at night

Also there are lights that have the gound ran with the power so each light is a one plug hookup look up grote lights, we run M1 down the cabs and M3 down the breathers on our trucks. (pete 379's and one brand new 389 07 motor and all )
