I have a set on my truck from jusnesmodified.com its a ok kit I'm not big on mounting rods in the rad, But its just a part of the horsepower puzzle worth it in my book

- if I was to do it again I would get the Troyer kit

Cause we can !

Isn't that the basic premise & mantra of an enthusiast?

Even a small gain, done right, can be satisfying.

I'm interested to know what your project consisted of: total cost and time invested. I am bored enough to try this if it is successful for you guys.

I'm still sketchy about doing them in my truck. I'm pretty sure I'll run them in my ting tang but not the daily driver..

Jwool's setup

My original setup/thread
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=279954

I spent about 4 hours on installing mine, and we spent about 20 hours on his, including shopping for everything except the fans. And driving to Autozone to get the fan clutch tool, we also put in his HU during that time frame and just general lunch breaks and BSing around.

Ktexas.. I see you are in Fort Worth. I head out that way a lot and as a matter of fact I will be there on Saturday all day by the Huelen man. If you want to come and check it out you are more than welcome to. I'll take you for a spin because it has made a tremendous difference

Actually I moved to Lewisville/Carrollton. But I'm in Fort Worth just about everyday. I would like to see your setup sometime.

To each his own. That's the whole point of customizing your ride.

The nice thing about e-fans was the A/C efficiency while at slow speeds or stopped.

Does anyone know what the stock cfm is?

That sir, is the question of the decade. I've aksed, I've searched and bupkis.

Nothing but wildass guesses.

I. therefore, can only infer - if a 5,000 cfm dual fan system adequately cools the truck in ALL operating regimes, then the stocker must be at least that - perhaps more, but if 5,000 works for all conditions, then more is just moot.

Dat's mah story an ahm stikin' to it

well running a single 2700cfm 16" is adequate for all conditions. I would estimate stock fan about 4k
