Anyone else?

Well, ever since I bought my truck. Ive been getting a squeaky noise from the back bench seat when hitting big bumps, etc.... Well after a couple months of listening to this annoying squeak. I decided to figure out what is causing this noise. Come to find out the noise was coming from my jack mount (that lil piece of metal that the jack sits on) underneath the back passanger bench seat. So im curious anyone has experienced this and what did you do about it? As of righ now i put a a lil padding underneath there and it has helped a lil bit but I would like to elimnated this problem and I dont want to take out the jack itself.

I like your solution!

I would just try and add padding were required and make sure your jack is in there good and tight.

Are you sure it's not the rear window? I had similar squeek and they ended up removing my rear window and reinstalling it. I guess as the cab flexed it would squeek. After the reinstall, squeek is gone and i am very happy now. It used to annoy the S out of me. Good luck.
