35-inch spare finally done

This may be general knowledge for those running 35-inch tires but if not fyi you can mount a 35-inch spare in the stock location. After much debate I decided to buy a cheap (relatively anyway) 17-inch wheel and mounted a 315/70 Goodyear AT on it. So today I had some time for the moment of truth. After removing the back section of the Magnaflow it fit with not a hair to spare on the sides. The rear of it comes within a half inch of the hitch but it fits. In front it's 3 1/4-inch to the diff cover which I think is plenty for clearance or heat issues but would like to hear your thoughts on that. I plan on the mag-hytec cover anyway so that should help. As mentioned, I had to remove the back section of the Magna and I can't see getting any exhaust routed back there now but I had planned to exit out behind the rear passenger door if this fit anyway. Sorry some of the pics show the mess but I was trying to show the tire profile so you could see clearance.

Dang the pics are small. Go to my album for the full size unless someone can post them bigger.

Damn, if only they made 35" Krawler for a 17" rim. That would look so bad a$$ under there. Worthless, but still.

I need to do this. Wonder if my tire guy has a used 35 layin around
