Glad to see that you are back! I am still just trying to figure out how you paid 39K for a F150. Back in late 04 my father ordered a brand new 05 F350 XLT, SC, DRW, FX4, PSD/torqshift. He paid $37K for it, the truck stickered at $43K. But what you paid is neither here, nor there.

Welcome back, now I just need to get those pics taken so you can make me that sig you promised .

after the wreck, state farm valued my 05 @ 26k, and cut the check.. I wish I still had the truck I miss the intimidation factor, and being able to see over most everyone-plus the ability to haul whatever I want, but she'd be a pia down here in atlanta...

How's the v-dub working out for ya? oh and a question on your previous setup... how did you like the toyo's and would you have gone 35's instead of 33's?

I dont think it took 9 months to deprecieate. I think you automatically lose like 8-10g's as soon as you drive it off the lot. F'n sux how that works. I was lookin at 04 FX4's and with the crazy "used" intrest it would have been like $730 a month. I said i wanted to keep it at $550 or below and they showed me a brand new 05(my truck) and I got it for $520@60 1.9% and that was with rolling over 2,500 from the old Danger

Uhh. 'Inaccurate'

I special ordered my '07 FX4 about three months ago, got it delivered in late June, got Xplan pricing on it and all the options, as well as 0% for 60 months, and $1000 cash rebate at delivery.

(the 0% alone saves me almost 9 grand compared to my trade in 06 XLT 60 month loan, which was at 8.34%)

I have a FICO score over 700 though, and was a previous Ford credit customer (18 months on the 06 loan, never missed a payment). So I'm pretty sure that's what clinched the deal.

E.

ahh the V-Dub is great- its zippy, gets good mileage and fits everywhere the truck wont -too bad troyer doesn't tune em... but its still not my truck...

yep, i'd go 35's if I were to order them again. thats why the set of tires that replaced my 33" toyo's were 35's- they were absolutely awesome tires- took care of any terrain, and were SUPER quiet. if you keep your truck well aligned, they will last you upwards of 25k miles

I just bought my 2005 Screw FX4 with 22k miles for 23,900. Not to bad. Thats why I ALWAYS buy a vehicle thats 1-2 years old. NEVER NEW. When you buy it new you lose so much money by driving it away from the dealership. Buying used takes away that cost.

Well I bought my jetta(previous car) used, and had many problems with it... With used you never know what the previous owner did to it... hence why i bought new... Yes i lost alot on the depreciation but i know that it rolled off the truck and into my hands
