Bed pics w/ no liner

I noticed my bed liner was cracked about 5" near the bottom up next to the cab. I took it out yesterday and it looks like the bed that butts up against the cab is bowed inward toward the cab. Should this be straight across or does it have a bow/curve to it? Some pics without a bedliner would be great. You wouldn't believe all the crap that was underneath the liner, enough to almost fill up a grocery bag.

That's why a lot of us have the spray on liners instead of the drop-ins.

In my old truck it had a drop in when I bought it. After a few years there was a lot of stuff under it and also had a hand full of spots where the liner wore through the paint and was causing some nasty rust spots. I'm currently too cheap to spend the cash on a spay on liner so I choose to scratch the heck out of the bed and if for some reason I decide I need more resale value I'll look into getting a spray in or something.

Now to the point of replying. I guess you are talking about the head board of the bed. I don't have any pictures but mine is straight across, does not bow towards the cab.

Yes the front of the bed is supposed to be straight across... not curved towards the bed. That didn't happen from your bedliner though. You must have had something back there that pushed on the front of the bed.

Thanks for the replies.
It was a rental before I bought it, somebody must have hauled something pretty heavy to have bent it the way it is.
