Tailgate is Sprayed with bedliner--Need To Access Bolts.
Anyone have a pic of the inside of their tailgate so i can see the bolt holes so that i can access the release handle? When the dealership had my bedliner sprayed in they sprayed over the bolt holes. I want to do the actuator mod tomorrow. Also, how hard is it to remove the rubberized part of the bedliner to remove the bolts?
They sprayed the access panel into the tailgate as one piece?
On mine, they removed the access panel and sprayed it separate so it can be removed.
Sorry for the dirty pictures but I took my dogs for a ride the other day:

FYI :
This is just one of the differences between an authorized Rhino liner and a Linex liner. Linex has the shop remove ALL bolts before spraying. Rhino sprays over the bolts.

Cold application liners like Rhino can be cut with a razor blade and peeled off. Do whatever needs to be done, then take it back in and get it touched up under warranty.
Don't try turning this into a silly Line-X versus Rhino thing.

He said he wouldnt remove them. Everybody would say go to another Line-x dealer but this guy owns the only 2 on long island. The next closest is in Connecticut so i just did my tailgate myself with Herculiner. So far so good
I don't know, that stuff is really tuff, esp on the bed where they really laid it on thick. A razor might not be sturdy enough to get a clean cut. Maybe a Dremel with a good cutting wheel.

Yeah that would probably be easier and faster. Could get ugly if your not carefull though
Just imagine a dremel flying everywhere and big chunks taken out of the bedliner everywhere
