Angry My rattle in the dash saga...

2007 XLT Single Cab with 2,195 miles on the odometer. About the 8th month of ownership.

I really do like this truck.

After not being able to locate this annoying rattle in the passenger side dash, I decided to take the truck to the dealer. 8 AM was my appointment and when 4 O'clock rolled around, I called them and asked them if they were going to keep the truck overnight. They said they would like to keep it overnight if possible. So I asked them for a loaner car.

Out of all the new cars and trucks I've owned, I've never had to leave one overnight for service.

This rattle is like a Chinese Water Torture. It was very hard to describe. It's like metal on metal or a loose washer or kind of like two pennies bouncing around.

What is really strange is that if the truck sits overnight and I start out, the rattle doesn't really get going full steam for about 10 minutes.

They gave me a nice Crown Vic to drive home yesterday. Smoooooth.....

Dealer found the issue.

Battery Mounting Bolts were loose.
