Question Broken plug going to disassembly heads, now what?

AS the heads are going to be disassembled, what do you suggest to do because my truck has 90,000 miles? I know it's not to much but any suggestions? By the way they are going to estimate 30 hour labor is this the usually time?

What parts aresuposed to need gaskets? what more they are goping to need?

Thanks for your HELP!

Just a few questions then a response.
1. Who are they?
2. Did they break the plugs off?
3. How many and to what severity are they broken?

Now the response.
If it was a Ford dealer then they have the tool and the technology to remove the broken plugs without removing the heads...I broke two off and left the porclein and the plug extension in the head but was able to remove them with in an hour or so with a little gentle persuasion and extreme care..
Far too many delearships and independent repair shops are too eager to remove the heads and collect some more $$$$$ for something that can be done much quicker....
