Please post pics if you have the Chrome Package on your 2007. I'm thinking about getting an '07 XLT with the chrome package. What are your opinions on it?

Chrome Package includes:
chrome step bars
chrome grille insert
chrome exhaust tip
18" chrome-clad aluminum wheels

 

I saw a blakc '07 just this past weekend with the chrome package and absolutely drooled!

There's also an all white '07 at the local Ford delaership, conveniently parked on the grass strip out front, with the chrome package and it too looks real nice!

Sorry, no pics. I think the package looks nice, especially if you dont really do any other mods. My problem was that almost all the lariats my dealer had were all equipped with this $1200 package. NOT a good buy for someone like myself who will be changing the wheels out for aftermarket and possibly the grill. I also think it looks better on the darker colors IMO.

Also, I am sure they are the same in your area, but the ones around here also have the chrome side mirror caps and chrome door/tailgate handles.

Anyway if you like it, go for it. Thats all that matters.

 

I think for the money, it's a nice appearance package. While I like the appearance of the wheels, I do find myself wishing they were more than just chrome clad but $1200 isn't going to pull that off. I find myself cleaning the wheels every 2 days or so but that's no big deal as I give her a UQD wipe down every 2-3 days anyways. Here's a few pictures.
