Sled Pullin
Last night i hooked in the 6200 pound street gas class at a local county fair...out of 7 guys i placed second and won a hundrd bucks...5 of the guys had chevys and one guy a dodge and of course me a ford. one guy weighed in and then wen i was pullin on the scales he laughed at me not to mention i kicked his *** by bout 100 foot. haha. the chevy that beat me beat me by a foot and a half and he def wasnt stock he was built up. its supposed to be a stock street class.
I want to post a vid i have but dont know how to do it...any advice???????

Nice pull!!
The thought has crossed my mind about hooking my truck at the local pull, but the bad thing around here is that the "stock" class is hardly stock. One of my buddies use to pull in the stock class with a 75 F250 4X4 running a 460 that engine dynoed over 470hp, had "hillbilly" lockers in both diffs, had something like 10 or 12 leaf springs in the rear stacks. But it could run the stock class since basically the only required things were that it had to be licesened, had to run a full metal body, could not run weight bars, no traction bars, and they had to run cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds. And his wasn't the only one, there was 1 other Ford and 5-6 Chevys that were all in pretty close to the same hp range. At every pull it was that hand full of guys out in front.
It would be very hard/impossible to run against trucks like his, with a truck that is for the most part stock.

the one chevy that beat me out for first was far from stock even though he was suppose to be...im not sure what motors the trucks had in um...the chevys were all like 98 99 model years and the dodge was round the same
