Flowmaster or Roush

I have decided to get an exhuast now but can't seem to decide which system to go with. I want a deep agressive tone. I was looking at the Roush Off Road system, but also thinking about a custom setup. Maybe true duals flowmaster. Any input or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you care about performance or sound?

I'm running true duals 2.5" stainless mandrel bent tubing into two Flowmaster Original 40s with 3.5" Stainless Rolled Edge tips. I love the sound!! My friends with much louder set-ups say they wish it could sound like my truck. It's loud but not overbearing at all. It's perfect.

on my 01 F150 i had a SIDO 40s flowmaster so i liked the sound it had. Im looking for more sounds than performance since i will be adding performance mods soon. Do you have a sound clip Thumper?

If your looking for a sweet sound the flowamaster is what you need. If your not willing to lose any low end torque then i suggest the Magnaflow which i have and love the sound too.

I added the Roush off-road, dual out the back, and I love it. Great sound, but quiet when you need it to be.

Dont expect it to be that cheap, around here they want 400 without tips for a SI/DO and 500 without tips for DI/DO. If I remember right, Thump had either a friend or family member that worked at a muffler shop, so thats why he got it so cheap. Heck around here for just my SI/SO with muffler and 3" for Y back was $200, if I would have had them add the tip it would have been around $270.

If it where me, with the 2 options that you listed I would do the Roush.

But to throw another option out there, if I were to do duals I would do true duals with an X pipe and IMCO pro series mufflers. My truck has a single pro series and I love how it sounds, no drone while cruising or towing. But it is more than enough to let people know that you are coming when you are on the gas, plus I didn't notice any low-end loss like some do with the flowmaster.

Wow thats a nice clean setup.

I have the Roush o/r system and I love it people always have to do a double take to see who it is, and also trying to hear who is making the loud whine.

Nope. We're talking about a 6000# truck, not my Mustang.
