After hours of research on here about ipods and mp3 players, I ordered the PIE adapter and all the necessary items to connect my mp3 player to my truck. I also searched for a couple of weeks or more for the perfect mount. The one I found was not exactly perfect but after some fabricating it fits in nicely! I think I am really going to enjoy it right where I have it. Let me know what you guys think. Here is how I have it mounted:

hands down, this was my favorite addition to the truck.

 

Yeah, I didn't see anybody that had a mount particulary like mine. That mount was supposed to suction to a mount that sticked to the dash, but it didn't stick. After about an hour of figuring out what I should do I fabricated it and bolted it right beside the cig lighter. Very convenient!

 

Looks like a very clean install . Time to update the IPOD though J/k
